I am running County Commissioner because I love Cherokee County and I want to safeguard the quality of life, we all cherish for generations to come.  As the next commissioner for District 1, I will keep my focus on the people and our community.

As a member of the Cherokee County Planning Commission for the past 14 years, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to supporting responsible growth, which often is the issue that people are most concerned about. Finding real solutions to the County’s current and increasing traffic congestion is my top priority, which is frequently related to our county’s growth. I share the concern and understand that the constituents of District 1 and all county residents desire more time with their families and less time sitting in traffic.

Other important issues that I will focus on include:

1.) Economic development that results in bringing good quality jobs to the county.

2.) Full and unwavering support for public safety.

3.) Ensuring our parks and future parks meet the recreational needs of all residents

4.) An advocate for lower taxes.

5.) Continuation and improve upon the cooperative relationship with our cities so that we can all work together in the best interests of every county resident.

In summary, I offer extensive local experience, conservative values, commitment, and a strong desire to serve our community. I'm not a politician, but there is a present need for a thoughtful and conservative voice that represents District 1’s and all Cherokee’s citizens; I'm a resident and business owner who truly cares about Cherokee County and the people living and working here. I promise to view the County’s challenges as opportunities, seeking the best possible outcome that will preserve our heritage and prosper our citizens.  Further, I commit to representing your best interests with honesty and integrity, and I will always listen to your concerns.
